An in-studio project whilst under requested 'stay at home' orders has us beginning the stripping of 70 year-old Martin 4-0-4  engine cowlings, in preparation to restore them and repaint with the original Eastern Airlines Logo.   Martin Aviation built only these two-engined commercial airlines, in 1952-1953 in the hopes of replacing the thousands of DC-3s carrying commercial passengers.   Only two airlines took a total of 103  orders;TWA and Eastern Airlines (the predecessor had structural issues, and the 4-0-4 was not pressurized).
