Jerri Bergen, owner of Victory Girl, an aviation art services company, is passionate about the history of aircraft ‘nose art’, those saucy, comical, personal images painted to the sides of military aircraft, reflecting the attitudes and sentiments of the crews and their missions.

Jerri Bergen and her company ‘Victory Girl’ at Cable Airport in Upland, CA, have designed and/or painted hundreds of nose art pieces on leather flight jackets, aircraft, RC models, hangar walls, and even bathroom tiles. Jerri has designed nose art for many commercial, military and general aviation aircraft – all of which have a story behind them. Jerri and her husband Chris also own and operate a Marine OY-1, and a 1941 Porterfield.

Jerri and Chris travel to painting locations and airshows with their big bus ‘Miss B Haven’ where Jerri completes aircraft nose art painting projects, meets with customers, and, many times, provides a powerpoint presentation of the fascinating use of nose art in US military history.

Victory Girl is located at Cable Airport (CCB), in Upland, California, the largest family-owned, public use airport in the US. Jerri also creates vintage airport posters (in her spare time!), to retain some of the original flavor of local airports that are fast disappearing from our urban landscape.

Jerri enjoys the history and stories behind aircraft nose art,
and seeks to preserve this unique American art form for future generations.
